We were inspired by the talks at General Conference, and hope you were, too! Each of us heard something that touched our hearts or sounded exactly like what we needed to hear. It’s hard to believe that can happen year after year, but it always does. As you reflect on your notes and impressions from conference, see what some of the Blossom Girls are talking about below!

“Pray in the name of Jesus Christ about your concerns, your fears, your weaknesses – yes, the very longings of your hear. And then listen!”
– President Russel M Nelson
There is nothing quite like opening your hear and telling your Heavenly Father everything. He is there and He does listen to us – no matter how big or small our problems or concerns are. It is important for me to take some time every day and just talk to my Father in Heaven as if I am talking to a close friend and let Him know what my day looks like and what I am feeling. No matter what your life looks like now – whether you are in the middle of the biggest difficulty of your life or you are moving along smoothly – your Heavenly Father wants to hear from you and He wants to help you become all you can become.
” I bear my personal witness that the Father is at this moment aware of you, your feelings, and the spiritual and temporal needs of everyone around you. I bear testimony that the Father and the Son are sending the Holy Ghost to all who have that gift, ask for that blessing, and seek to be worthy of it. Neither the Father, nor the Son, nor the Holy Ghost force Themselves into our lives. We are free to choose. I pray with all my hear that you will hear the voice of the Spirit, which is sent to you so generously. And i pray that you will open your heart always to receive Him. If you ask with real intent and with faith in Jesus Chris for inspiration, you will receive it in the Lord’s way and in His time.”
– President Henry B Eyring
What amazing blessings and promises! We have to choose to be worthy of the companionship of the Holy Ghost. It is up to us to open our heart and receive Him and His guidance. They wont force themselves into our lives. We have to let them in! It is a conscious and consistent effort on our part. I love this reminder. I hope I can be a little more aware of the Spirit and try a little harder to ask for His guidance and companionship.
