A few years ago, a friend of mine asked me if I would model for a new outdoor clothing brand. Of course my reply was, “Yes!” but little did I know that small company, Cotopaxi, would become the well known “Gear for Good” brand it is today. Ever since I modeled for Cotopaxi, I started following more brands who have a mission to give back, and I began to think of ways I can use my talents to also “give back” to those in my community. Now, I try to shop at “give back” brands, and I volunteer as a model for art and photography students (helping them master their talents, because someone has to do it!). I’ve learned that we have the ability to be a “give back” brand ourselves by serving those around us. As you think of ways you can share your talents in the form of service, have fun browsing this list of stylish “give back” brands. Who knows, maybe you’ll start your own someday!
