My mom recently shared this 1986 First Presidency message from President Benson and I loved the simple yet poignant message. My favorite quote is: “A woman whose life is involved in the righteous rearing of her children has a better chance of keeping up her spirits than the woman whose total concern is centered in her own personal problems.” Keeping our lives focused on the needs of others allows us to focus on Christ as well. Doing this dispels fear, loneliness and despair.
